वरलक्ष्मीप्रार्थना
अष्टैश्वर्यप्रदात्रीं ताम् आधिव्याधिनिवारिणीम्।
महाविष्णुप्रियां देवीं वरलक्ष्मीं नमाम्यहम्॥

Varalakṣmī-prārthanā
aṣṭaiśvarya-pradātrīṃ tām ādhivyādhi-nivāriṇīm ।
mahāviṣṇu-priyāṃ devīṃ varalakṣmīṃ namāmyaham ॥

I bow to Goddess Varalakṣmī, that bestower of the eight forms of prosperity,
the remover of mental and bodily afflictions, and the beloved Devi of Mahāviṣṇu.
