ओं शान्ति: शान्ति: शान्ति:

O Gods! Let us hear auspicious words through our ears.

Let us see auspicious things through our eyes in the sacrifices.
Let us enjoy a life that is beneficial to Gods.
Let us praise the Gods with bodies having strong limbs.
Let Indra of ancient fame be propitious to us.
May the all-knowing Pusha be auspicious to us.
Let Garuda, who destroys evils, be favorably disposed towards us.

Let Brhaspati grant us welfare.

This Shanti (Peace) invocation appears in the Mundaka, Mandukya and Prasna Upanishads. This Peace Chant ends with the prayer for protection from the Tapatrayas (Threefold miseries) in terms of  Adhyatmika (Body, Mind), Adhi Bhautika (Animals, other living Beings) and Adhi Daivika (Natural calamities like Earthquake, Flood, Tsunami, etc.).

HAPPY SUDAMA DAY --- KRISHNA TAKES FLATTEND RICE BROUGHT BY SUDAMA

On this auspicious Sudama (Kuchela) day, let us celebrate the boundless grace of Krishna towards his dear childhood  friend Sudama.

Krishna takes flattened rice (அவல்) from his dear friend Sudama and blesses him at  Dvaraka.

SRI GODA AND SRI RADHA

SrI RAdhA is MahAlakshmI in the form of NIlA DevI. She is worshipped with intense prema bhakti bhAva by AzhvArs and AndAl (GodA) as Nappinnai. She is also fondly adored as Pinnai. Pinnai MaNAlan is verily RAdhA Vallabha.

Along with chanting of TiruppAvai , chanting of SrI RAdhA KrupA katAksha Stava helps one to gain the bliss of Krishna katAksha and His divine association.

 SrIgovindapriyAm rAjnIm vrndAvana manoharIm

KrpAsvarUpiNIm divyAM rAdhA devIm namAmyaham

I offer my respectful obeisance to the Goddess Sri Radha Devi, Sri Krishna’s beloved Queen, the source of the beauty of Brindavan, who is auspicious and is of the form of mercy.

 SrIrAdhikAkrpApAtrAm vishNucittasutAm sudhAm

SrIkrshNapremamagnAm tAm godA devIm namAmyaham

I offer my respectful obeisances to SrI Goda DevI (AndAl) who is blessed by SrI RAdhA DevI (in the form of NIla DevI), the nectar like daughter of SrI Vishnu citta (PeriyAzhvAr), immersed in Sri Krishna Prema Bhakti.
