लोकोज्जीवनकर्तारं वेदवेदान्तभास्करम् ।
महादेवस्वरूपं तं नमाम्यादि-जगद्गुरुम् ॥
Lokojjīvanakartāraṁ vedavedāntabhāskaram.
Mahādevasvarūpaṁ taṁ namāmyādi-jagadgurum. ॥
I bow to the primordial Jagadguru—who revives and uplifts the world, who is the Sun that illumines the Vedas and Vedānta, and
who is of the very nature of Mahādeva (Śiva).
