WHETHER IT IS PROPER TO BRING COWS FROM VRNDAVANA AND REAR THEM IN ASRAMAS AND TEMPLES OUTSIDE VRNDAVANA?

According to Vaishnava tradition, cows born at Vrndavana are so sacrosanct. It is believed that ardent Radhakrishna devotees rejoice in taking birth in the sacred land of Vrndavana in the form of trees, plants, creepers, birds, cows and other animals and species. Their main objective is to experience the bliss of Radhakrishna Prema Bhakti in any living form. Hence it may not be proper to bring cows from the divine land of Vrndavana and rear them in Asramas and Temples outside Vrndavana. According to great Vasihnava Acharyas, doing so may cause immense mental pain to the cows in view of physical separation from the punya bhumi of Radhakrishna and hence it has to be totally avoided.

GO MATA (SACRED COW) (गोमाता) ENJOYS LISTENING TO SUKLA YAJUR VEDA CHANTING

It is an amazing thing to watch the sacred cow  (aptly named Surabhi)  sitting in the midst of the Vidyarthis of the Sukla Yajurveda Pathasala at   Maheshmal, Aurangabad. It is really touching to see the matchless devotion of the Veda Students.  It demonstrates the greatness of the Vedacharya who is teaching the nuances of Vedic recitation to the young students.  The Veda students are chanting and also showing the hasta vinyasa in terms of movement of the hand according to the Veda Svaras. It is an awesome visual delight to watch the (गोमाता)  moving its head, ears and tail in a rhythmic pattern and appreciating the Vedic chanting.  We feel as if the divine Veda Mata (वेदमाता) herself is present in the form of (गोमाता)   to bless all to pursue Vedic studies. It is an ecstatic experience which takes us to a different world altogether . It symbolizes the divine presence of Sri Radha and Krishna who manifest in the form of Veda Varnasvaras.
